| About Google's Catalog Search |
Google has made it easy to find information published in mail-order catalogs that were not previously available online. Our exclusive Google Catalog Search includes the full content of hundreds of mail-order catalogs selling everything from industrial adhesives to clothing and home furnishings. Whether you're looking to buy for yourself or for your business, Google's Catalog Search can help.
To use Catalog Search, select the "Catalog Search" link on the advanced search page or visit http://catalogs.google.com. Because of the large number of images, catalogs are best viewed over a broadband Internet connection.
The Google Catalog Search service is provided AS IS and Google expressly disclaims to the fullest extent permitted by law all express, implied, and statutory warranties regarding the information included therein. And under no circumstances shall Google be liable to any user on account of their use, misuse, or reliance on the Google Catalog Search service.
Please note that Google is not associated with the catalog vendors offered in this service.

| Frequently Asked Questions |
1. How do I purchase a product from a catalog?
The easiest way to purchase an item is to call the phone number displayed in the navigation bar at the top of every catalog page. If the sales representative asks for a catalog code, you can find that code to the right of the phone number. Please tell the sales representative that you saw the catalog on Google. Although we try to have the most current issue of each catalog available, pricing and availability may change; please confirm prices with the sales representative before placing an order.
For most catalogs, you can also click on the URL displayed in the top navigation bar to go to the catalog web site and order there. However, the products advertised on the web site may differ from the ones in the catalog.
2. How can I ask for a catalog to be added?
We are adding catalogs as quickly as possible with help from our users. If you don't see a particular catalog you like, please let us know by filling out the catalog suggestion form.
3. How does catalog search work?
Google scans printed copies of the catalogs and automatically converts the text portion to a format that can be searched. Google then uses the same sophisticated algorithms that power our web search to enable search over the catalog content and ensure that the most relevant catalog pages are presented first in your results. The scanning and character recognition processes are not perfect, so you may notice occasional errors in page numbers or encounter pages that are hard to read. We apologize for these problems and are working to fix them in later versions of this service.
4. How can I send you feedback?
We always love to hear from our users and we read all the mail we receive. We've tried to answer as many questions as possible in this FAQ. If you don't see the answer to your question here, or if you have specific suggestions for improving the Google Catalog Search service, please send an email to catalog-support@google.com.
