| About Google's Catalog Search |
Google Catalog Search applies Google's sophisticated search technology to thousands of scanned mail-order catalogs, from industrial adhesives to designer clothing and gourmet food. Whether you publish business or consumer catalogs, Google Catalog Search extends the reach of your marketing efforts to millions of new customers.
Inclusion in Google Catalog Search is currently free for publishers. There is no obligation and nothing you need to do other than provide Google with copies of your catalogs. Google's enormous user base performs more than 150 million searches a day, so your catalog will be seen by customers it would take millions of dollars and years to find through traditional means. And remember that these users are actively looking for the products you sell.

| Frequently Asked Questions |
1. How can I update my catalog and information?
If the catalog being displayed is not current, please send the most
recent issue to:
Google Catalogs
171 Main St. #280A
Los Altos, CA 94022
To suggest changes to the description of your catalog, send email to catalog-vendors@google.com listing the information as it appears currently and how you would like it to be changed. Be sure to include your name, title and phone number so we can verify you actually represent the publisher of the catalog.
2. Are there any catalogs that will not be included
in the search?
Google's beta catalog search focuses on standard U.S. mail-order product
catalogs which have prices printed in them and are designed to help
customers make a purchase immediately. At this time we are not including
foreign catalogs, travel guides, course catalogs, manufacturers' information
sheets, looseleaf sheets/brochures, and catalogs that are printed with
unusually large or small dimensions, or in landscape (horizontal) format.
In addition, Google's policy is not to host catalogs that focus on liquor,
tobacco, firearms, or similar products.
3. How can I gain tracking information regarding users
visiting my catalog using Google's Catalog Search?
Google will work with you to link products in the scanned catalogs to
the same product on your web site, so users can order from you even
more easily. Please send an email to catalog-vendors@google.com
for more information.
